What the AIAPGET scorecard actually contains

The scorecard on your NTA login is the single document counselling runs on. Read it carefully — percentile and rank are different things, and only one of them books a seat.

  • Raw marks out of 480 — your +4/−1 total from the final key.
  • Percentile — your position against everyone who appeared (~49,864 in 2026).
  • All India Rank (AIR) — your ordinal rank for seat allotment order.
  • Category rank — your standing inside your reservation category.
  • Qualifying status — whether you cleared the percentile cutoff for your category.

Expected timeline and where to check

NTA posts results on exams.nta.nic.in behind your application login — there is no merit-list PDF to scroll. Based on the 2026 cycle (exam Aug 22 → result Sep 18), expect roughly a four-week gap; verify the declared date on the portal.

  • Keep application number + DOB ready; traffic spikes at result hour.
  • Download and save multiple copies — counselling and admission both demand it.
  • Check name, roll number, and category fields against your admit card immediately.

After the result: from scorecard to seat

Qualifying is step one, not the finish. The scorecard unlocks AACCC counselling registration (AIQ seats) and state-authority counselling (state quota) — each with its own portal, schedule, and registration window.

  • Register for AACCC counselling on aaccc.gov.in as soon as it opens.
  • Register separately with your state counselling authority for state-quota seats.
  • Start document collection — scorecard, admit card, degree, internship, council registration — before choice filling begins.

Expected roughly four weeks after the exam, based on the 2026 cycle (Aug 22 exam → Sep 18 result). Confirm on exams.nta.nic.in.

Percentile is your relative performance against all appeared candidates; AIR is your ordinal position used for seat allotment. Category rank is your position within your reservation group.

AIAPGET answer key

NTA publishes a provisional key with your recorded responses, opens a paid challenge window, then scores everyone off the final key. Here is how to play it.

AIAPGET cutoff

Two different “cutoffs” get confused every year: the qualifying percentile that lets you counsel, and the rank where a real seat actually closes.

AACCC counselling

After the result, two parallel systems fill ~2,274 ASU&H PG seats: AACCC for the All India Quota and central/deemed institutes, state authorities for state quota.

AIAPGET seat matrix

About 2,274 ASU&H PG seats fill through AIAPGET ranks. Which of them you can claim depends on quota, category, and where the matrix publishes.
