Where AIAPGET papers actually come from — and what to trust

NTA does not maintain a public question-paper archive. Each cycle’s official paper surfaces only inside the candidate login during the answer-key stage (question paper + recorded responses), which makes recalled compilations the common 2019–2025 source — useful, but uneven in answer accuracy.

  • 2019–2025: one 120-question CBT paper per annual cycle — seven usable sets.
  • Most reliable source for the latest cycle: the NTA-published paper and response sheet in your own login.
  • Recalled papers: great for topic mapping; treat their answer keys with suspicion and cross-check disputed items against standard texts.
  • Use PDFs for analysis — but practise on a CBT interface, because the real exam is one.

What seven years of PYQs reveal about the paper

Recurrence is the reason PYQs work. Topics repeat far more reliably than questions do — which is why analysis beats memorisation.

  • Brihat Trayi and Kayachikitsa carry the heaviest share most years; Samhita-source attribution is a constant.
  • Dravyaguna, Rasashastra & Bhaishajya Kalpana, Roga Nidan, Shalya, and Prasuti form a dependable mid-weight block.
  • Assertion–reason and multi-statement formats recur every cycle; clinical vignettes have grown denser in recent years.
  • Difficulty stays broadly stable — cutoffs float because cohorts differ, not because the paper transformed.
  • Research methodology, AYUSH current affairs, and emergency-medicine items appear as small but bankable blocks.

How to solve PYQs without wasting them — the +4/−1 protocol

Seven papers is roughly 840 questions of signal. Burned casually, they become trivia. Run them as timed rehearsals with a correction loop, and they become a rank instrument.

  • Pass 1 (year-wise): full paper in 120 minutes under +4/−1 scoring — measure real pacing, not comfort.
  • Tag every miss and every guessed-right item: knowledge gap, silly error, or pacing panic.
  • Re-solve tagged items within 72 hours; anything still wrong becomes a named revision block on your calendar.
  • Pass 2 (subject-wise): re-group all PYQs by subject to expose which areas leak marks across years.
  • Inside Navasankalpa, the same loop runs at scale — PYQ-patterned drills inside a 4 Lakh+ MCQ ecosystem, grand CBT mocks, and AIR 1 post-test review of exactly where your elimination logic broke.

FAQs — AIAPGET previous year question papers

Where can I get AIAPGET previous year question papers?+

NTA publishes the official paper with recorded responses inside candidate logins at the answer-key stage. For 2019–2025, recalled compilations circulate widely — cross-check their answer keys against standard texts before trusting them.

How many years of AIAPGET PYQs should I solve?+

All seven available cycles (2019–2025). The question set is small enough to cover fully, and each year adds recurrence evidence the others miss.

Do AIAPGET questions repeat from previous years?+

Verbatim repeats are rare, but topics recur heavily — the same Samhita passages, dravyas, and nidana concepts reappear in different formats. Analyse topics, not just questions.

Should I attempt PYQs before finishing the syllabus?+

Yes — solve them subject-wise as you finish each block, then attempt full year-wise papers once coverage is broad. Waiting for a “finished syllabus” means never starting.

Are AIAPGET PYQs enough to crack the exam?+

No. PYQs reveal what and how the exam asks; they cannot teach the underlying Samhita and subject depth. Pair them with structured study and fresh CBT mocks.

How should I score myself on AIAPGET PYQs?+

Apply the real scheme — +4 correct, −1 wrong, 0 unattempted — in a single timed sitting. Friendly scoring produces friendly scores that evaporate on exam day.
