Who conducts what

The AYUSH Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) runs centralised online counselling on aaccc.gov.in for All India Quota seats in government and aided colleges, plus PG seats of central universities and deemed universities, across Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, and Homoeopathy. State-quota seats fill separately through each state’s counselling authority.

  • AACCC — AIQ govt/aided seats, central university and deemed university seats.
  • State counselling authorities — remaining state-quota seats in government and private colleges.
  • Both run on your AIAPGET scorecard and rank; registrations are separate.

Round-by-round flow on aaccc.gov.in

AACCC counselling follows a predictable loop repeated across Round 1, Round 2, and mop-up/stray vacancy rounds. Rules for upgradation and resignation change per brochure — read the current one.

  • Register on aaccc.gov.in with AIAPGET details and pay the counselling/security fee.
  • Fill and lock choices — institute + subject combinations in genuine preference order.
  • Round 1 allotment — accept and report to the allotted institute, or opt for upgradation.
  • Round 2 and mop-up rounds — fresh allotments for vacant and upgraded seats.
  • Resignation and forfeiture rules differ by round; the security deposit is at stake.

Documents you will need at reporting

Reporting to an allotted institute is a physical verification event. Missing documents cancel allotments — prepare the folder during the result-to-counselling gap.

  • AIAPGET scorecard and admit card.
  • BAMS degree or provisional certificate.
  • Internship completion certificate.
  • Council registration certificate.
  • Photo ID, category/EWS/PwD certificates, and the allotment letter.
  • Recent photographs and any institute-specific forms.

FAQs — AACCC counselling

What is AACCC counselling?+

AACCC is the centralised online counselling run by the AYUSH Admissions Central Counseling Committee on aaccc.gov.in. It fills All India Quota seats in government/aided colleges plus central and deemed university PG seats for Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, and Homoeopathy.

What is the difference between AIQ and state-quota seats?+

AIQ seats are filled centrally by AACCC and open to all-India candidates. State-quota seats are filled by the respective state counselling authority, usually with domicile conditions.

Can I participate in both AACCC and state counselling?+

Candidates commonly register on both portals since the seat pools are separate — follow each authority’s rules and timelines as published that year.

What happens if I do not report after AIAPGET seat allotment?+

The seat is forfeited and security-deposit rules apply per that round’s brochure. Skipping reporting to wait for a later round carries real financial and eligibility consequences — read the rules first.

How many seats does AIAPGET counselling fill?+

Roughly 2,274 ASU&H PG seats in total across streams, with Ayurveda forming the largest share. The exact live matrix publishes on aaccc.gov.in each cycle.

Is there a counselling fee for AACCC?+

Yes — a registration fee and refundable security deposit structure applies, with amounts set in each cycle’s counselling brochure on aaccc.gov.in.

AIAPGET seat matrix

About 2,274 ASU&H PG seats fill through AIAPGET ranks. Which of them you can claim depends on quota, category, and where the matrix publishes.

AIAPGET result

The 2026 result dropped Sep 18, about four weeks after the Aug 22 exam. Expect a similar gap in 2027 — and know what every number on the scorecard means.

AIAPGET cutoff

Two different “cutoffs” get confused every year: the qualifying percentile that lets you counsel, and the rank where a real seat actually closes.

AIAPGET eligibility

A recognised BAMS degree plus internship completion by the announced cutoff is the core rule. The details — and one 2026 precedent — are below.
