AIAPGET Admit Card 2027: Release, City Slip & Download Steps

Release pattern: city slip first, admit card next

In recent cycles NTA has published the advance city intimation slip roughly two to three weeks before the exam so candidates can plan travel, followed by the actual admit card a few days before exam day. For 2027, treat these as expected patterns — the bulletin on exams.nta.nic.in controls.

City intimation slip — shows your allotted exam city only; it is NOT the admit card.
Admit card (hall ticket) — the document that gets you through the gate.
Both download with your application number and date of birth on the NTA portal.

Verify these fields the moment it downloads

An admit-card error discovered at the centre is an unfixable problem. Check every field against your documents the same day it releases.

Name, date of birth, category, and gender — must match your photo ID exactly.
Photograph and signature — clear, correct, and yours.
Exam date, shift, gate-closure and reporting time.
Centre code and full address — do a route run in advance if the city is new.
Any self-declaration/undertaking block the bulletin asks you to fill in advance.

Exam-day rules that actually get enforced

CBT centres run biometric verification and frisking. Candidates lose the attempt every year to paperwork lapses, not knowledge gaps.

Carry the printed admit card plus one valid government photo ID as specified in the bulletin.
Reach the centre by the printed reporting time — gates close before the exam start.
No phones, smartwatches, or notes inside; the bulletin’s prohibited-items list is enforced.
Carry passport photos matching the uploaded image if the bulletin requires them.

FAQs — AIAPGET admit card

When does the AIAPGET admit card release?+

Typically a few days before the exam, after the city intimation slip (roughly 2–3 weeks ahead in recent cycles). For 2027, expect August timing based on the 2026 pattern — verify on exams.nta.nic.in.

Is the city intimation slip the same as the admit card?+

No. The slip only tells you your exam city for travel planning. The admit card — released later — is the mandatory entry document.

What if I cannot download my AIAPGET admit card?+

Recheck your application number and date of birth, try off-peak hours, then contact the NTA helpdesk with your confirmation-page details. Do not wait till exam eve.

What ID proof is accepted at the AIAPGET centre?+

A valid government photo ID as listed in that cycle’s admit-card instructions — typically Aadhaar, PAN, passport, voter ID, or driving licence. Carry the original, not a photocopy.

Can I change my exam centre after the admit card is issued?+

No. Centre and city allotments are final once issued; correction is only possible for the fields NTA allows during the application correction window.
